General Terms and Conditions (AGB) for the Contest Pro Registration Portal

1. Participation Conditions

  1. Registration is open to all dancers who meet the specified age and performance categories. The minimum age for the registering person is 18 years.
  2. Registration is done through the provided online portal Contest Pro.

2. Registration Fee

  1. Participants accept the set registration fee. Starting spots are only allocated once the invoice is paid to the specified bank account. The invoice can be viewed in the "Contest Pro" portal as a download.
  2. The registration fee is non-refundable, except in the case of a competition cancellation, in which case a credit will be issued for the amount already paid.

3. Registration Information

  1. Participants are responsible for the accuracy of their details. In case of incorrect information, the organizer, in consultation with the tournament management, has the right to exclude the school/studio/club, the dance, or the participant from the competition.
  2. Changes to the registration details must be made independently in the portal no later than 4 weeks before the respective tournament.

4. Liability Disclaimer

  1. The organizers accept no liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from registration for or during a competition.
  2. Participants agree to compete at their own risk.

5. Publication Rights

  1. Participants agree that images and videos of their performances may be used for promotional and reporting purposes.

6. Competition Rules

  1. Participants are obliged to comply with the established competition rules and must independently consider them when registering in the portal. Incorrect information during registration may lead to disqualification.

7. Contract Amendments

  1. By registering through the Contest Pro portal for a competition, participants agree to the Contest Pro AGB and the AGB of the competition.

8. Payment Terms

  1. The registration fee must be paid within a specified period after successful registration. Only then are participation and starting spots guaranteed.
  2. Payments are made exclusively through the payment methods indicated in the online portal. (See invoice)
  3. In case of payment default, we reserve the right to cancel the registration without further notice.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  1. All personal data collected during registration is treated confidentially.
  2. The organizers commit to protecting all data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
  3. Personal data is handled in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations and will not be shared with third parties.

10. Maintenance Terms

  1. The registration portal may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance.
  2. The organizers are not liable for technical problems beyond their control.

11. Terms of Use

  1. The registration portal is exclusively intended for the lawful registration for the dance competition.
  2. Participants agree not to transmit content that violates applicable laws, decency, or the rights of third parties.
  3. Any use of the registration portal for fraudulent or illegal purposes is prohibited.
  4. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants from the reported competitions of the current season without prior notice if they violate the terms of use. The season begins in September and lasts until July of the following year.
  5. Participants are responsible for keeping their login details secure and not sharing them with third parties.

12. Final Provisions

  1. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
  2. This contract is governed exclusively by German law, regardless of the country or language in which the competition takes place.
  3. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract is Essen, Germany.
